La Colección de Arquitectura Canadiense John Bland es una unidad de la Biblioteca de la Universidad McGill especializada en la conservación y conservación de archivos arquitectónicos canadienses . Descripción
La colección fue creada por John Bland, entonces director de la Escuela de Arquitectura McGill, en 1974. [2] Hasta la fecha, contiene más de 100 fondos de archivo que documentan a arquitectos canadienses de renombre como Edward Maxwell , [3] Moshe Safdie [4] o Harold Lea Fetherstonhaugh [5] a través de su correspondencia, dibujos arquitectónicos , planos y fotografías relativas a sus realizaciones.
La historiadora de arquitectura France Gagnon-Pratte utilizó la colección para escribir su libro de 1987 Country Houses for Montrealers, 1892-1924: the architecture of E. and WS Maxwell , [6] después de lo cual donó sus notas de trabajo y fotografías. [7]
